I've experienced the exact same issue! Every time I answer, the call gets abruptly cut off. It's becoming rather frequent, and I've notified the Telephone Preference Service about it more than a few times now.

I received a call earlier today. When I mentioned my name, the caller immediately inquired about my son by name. I informed him that my son wasn't at home, and to my surprise, he accused me of not being truthful!
