So I got this call from someone claiming to be Eric, who said he was from some caller preference service. He told me they were gonna put a filter on my phone line to stop unwanted calls. Then he asked if I’d paid my phone bill and if I always paid on time. He even wanted me to confirm that I had a bank card that expires in 2024. I told him no way was I giving out my bank details, and then he said he didn’t need my bank account number or sort code and just hung up. Wish that filter had been set up already - maybe that call wouldn’t have gone through in the first place! Haha.

I received a call from this number on my home phone earlier today. The moment the answering machine picked up, the line was abruptly cut off. It certainly seems like another dodgy scammer at work.
