I received a call from someone purporting to be from the DWP, indicating that if I didn’t respond, my benefits would be halted. I’m currently working from home, so I made sure to return the call. The number displayed was an 0345 linked to the job centre in Telford. They claimed there were thousands to be deposited into my account, yet they couldn’t provide any specifics about the source of those funds. Seems a bit fishy, doesn’t it?
