Been getting these calls about Bank Security charging £699 on my card, but they never say which one. They tell you to press 1 to confirm or 2 to speak to someone - yeah, right! Each time it’s the same recorded message, and this has been going on sporadically since February. What’s odd is that sometimes the number starts with 01270, which is actually my local area code! I reckon I’ve had close to 10 calls now about this so-called Bank Security issue.
