When I searched for the company online, the number matched the one listed on their site. The catch? The business is based in Crewe, Cheshire, and I've never dealt with a security company, let alone one located over 250 miles from where I live! I’m inclined to think it's either a wrong number or, more likely, the number’s been cloned. That’s why I didn’t pick up. Honestly, if you haven't reached out to this firm yourself, I'd stay clear of answering this call.

I never pick up calls from unfamiliar numbers and they didn’t bother leaving any voicemail. I spotted a few missed calls from them on my phone and tried to look up the number online before thinking about returning the call, but couldn’t find any details at all.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media, and they kept asking to get into my computer and router. Seemed fishy to me!
