I got a call from this number regarding my mobile contract, which is quite inconsiderate since I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service. When I expressed my disinterest and brought up the TPS, they just cut the line. Absolutely ridiculous!

I recently answered a phone call from a woman inquiring about who manages our landline. When I asked for her name, she rattled it off so quickly that I couldn't catch it. I inquired if she was aware of the Telephone Preference Service, to which she replied in the affirmative. Yet, when I mentioned she shouldn't be contacting us, she countered with a question about whether we were with BT. Upon telling her we weren't, she insisted on knowing our provider. I firmly stated that it was none of her concern and ended the call. I found her approach quite aggressive. While I can handle these sorts of calls, it could certainly unsettle someone older or less assertive.
