i got a call from someone saying they were from talktalk, telling me my landline and broadband would be cut off today if i didn't press 1 to fix the issue. I just hung up straight away without saying anything, felt like a scam to me.

somebody called me saying they were from bt, saying my internet was being hacked again or something. i told them i’d be reporting their number to the police’s scam unit and they just dropped the call. these scam people are so annoying, when will it end? honestly, anyone with older relatives should make sure to block these kinds of numbers on their phones!

Got a call today from someone trying to sell me a phone plan. It was one of those telemarketing calls from a telecom company. I wasn’t really interested but they kept going on about deals and offers. Bit annoying, especially when you’re trying to get on with your day.
