I got a call from someone named Caroline Murphy, spoke with a thick Bangladeshi accent, saying she was from Microsoft. She told me my computer had been hacked by some people. I played along for about 20 minutes, then told her I’d hang up and call Microsoft myself to talk to her directly. After that, she got really annoyed, threatened to block my computer, and then just cut the call.
