Hey, I’m based in Italy (+39) and just got a call from +44 1269849872. The odd part is, when I picked up, it was my girlfriend on the line, but she’s actually all the way in Idaho Falls, USA. Got a call back from this number, turns out it’s from one of those loan companies. If you’ve filled out any sort of credit card application through Facebook or somewhere else, they might share your phone details with loads of different financial and loan firms. This place isn’t actually a credit card provider, even if they claim they offer cards for people with bad credit. Honestly, best to ignore any calls or messages from numbers like this - a lot of them could be trying to scam you.
