Got a call from some bloke called Jack, and he had a really thick Asian accent. Started off with "How are you? I’m from the Credit investigation department." Didn’t trust it one bit, so I just blocked the number.

But just after I’d hung up, the caller started saying some really nasty and inappropriate things to me. I didn’t get a chance to block the number straight away, but I’ve reported and blocked it through BT now.

I picked up the phone but all I got were some weird sounds, no one actually talking, so I ended the call. Checked it out here and seems like it’s probably a scam, so I’ve blocked the number now. I’m retired but still sharp enough to spot these dodgy calls, though unfortunately a lot of people aren’t so lucky and end up getting ripped off. There ought to be a way to shut these scammers down properly, or even better, force these rotten cheats to deal with their own rubbish calls.

Just got a call from this number a couple minutes ago. The guy already knew my name and started asking if I’d had my covid jab. I told him I didn’t want to talk about it and he just hung up on me. Tried ringing back but the line’s been busy since. Then I looked it up and found this site.

Got a call from someone claiming to be NHS about Covid-19 or something. I was expecting dodgy calls like this. I told the bloke I wasn't sharing any info over the phone and to bugger off minding my business. Then he started getting rude and swearing at me.
