Got a recorded call about some new government scheme for solar panels and free electricity. When I tried to call back, the number didn’t show up and there was no company info given in the message. Planning to report it to the ICO. I got a call around 8.20pm on Tuesday - it was an automated message about some energy efficiency programme, asking me to press 1 to check if I qualify. Just as the voice started to explain how to opt out, the call cut off suddenly. I'm really sick of these kinds of calls, especially the ones from India where as soon as you say you don’t want any more calls, they just hang up on you!
