Their nuisance started well in advance of the 11th of May, using a different number from the same vicinity. Their identity has been established.

Got a call from some bloke chatting about the government and getting cash back, sounded a bit sus like one of those dodgy scams you hear about on telly. What freaked me out was he knew my full name, both first and last. He kicks off with “Hello Miss Weeks, have you heard about what the government are saying about home owners blah blah.” I quickly jumped in and told him to hold up as I don't even own a house. Then he just said sorry and used my first name, and ended with goodbye. Proper odd.

Honestly, if you get a random call from a stranger, it's almost always a scam. Never share any personal info, even if they claim to be from your bank. Best thing is to pop into your branch or call the official number from a different phone. This makes the sixth scam call I've had this week alone! Proper annoying.

Got another scam call from 01268 855746 Basidon, the second time just today. I answered with hello a couple of times, but the caller just cut me off before I could tell them where to go! Honestly, if you get a random call from someone unknown, chances are it’s a scammer trying their luck. Never share any info, even if they claim to be from your bank! Always head to your bank in person or ring them back on a number you know is legit. This week alone I'm already up to six dodgy calls!

Got calls on my landline two days running, both around the same time, just a couple minutes apart. They said they were from something called "Next Gen," ringing about some new gov scheme. I get these sorts of calls fairly often since we had solar panels put in a while back. My missus enjoys winding them up by asking to talk to their data controller and reminding them about GDPR rules. They've been blocked now.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise around 1:30pm on 01/06/21. Call Guardian blocked it so I didn’t answer. They didn’t leave a voicemail.
