Directorate: Repairs and Parts for Washing Machines, Electrical Appliances Address: 13 Bowlers Croft, Basildon, SS14 3DX I just received a call from them, informing me that they’ll be coming round tomorrow to carry out the modification needed for my condenser dryer, which I was informed about back in February. Apparently, there are numerous dryers from brands like Indesit, Whirlpool, and Creda, among possibly others, that have this fault requiring attention. It seems to be above board. They were initially meant to arrive on September 1st, but didn’t turn up. Apparently, I wasn't booked for that date, which led me to fire off a rather irate letter to them, especially since I have an email confirming that date and a booking reference as well. I suspect this is a response to my complaint. However, given that they’re based in Basildon and I’m all the way up in West Yorkshire, which is quite a distance, I can't help but wonder why they are travelling so far just for this job. And calling the number listed on the email is futile; it’s just a call centre where you won’t get any real answers.
