Got a call from 01268793978, some bloke with a strong Asian accent asking about any messages from BT or Amazon. Honestly, I could barely make out what he was saying. Tried to keep the convo going, but it was so hard to understand him that I just ended the call.

I've gotten a few calls like this myself. I heard somewhere that it's possibly a gang based in Canada but originally from Asia, who've somehow gotten hold of loads of UK phone numbers. They tend to say they're calling from BT, which is obviously dodgy. The calls often have a bit of a hold up at the start, probably because they're ringing in from overseas.

I received a robotic call claiming there were issues with my internet and that I needed to provide a new ID number for my computer. Just a heads up, it's best to disregard this fraudulent attempt!

I received yet another automated call claiming my internet security had been breached by numerous foreign entities. I’m absolutely sick to death of these incessant calls-enough is enough! It really is high time action was taken to put an end to this nonsense.

I received a recorded call featuring a woman's voice that struck me as rather mechanical. She claimed that our internet service had been jeopardised and threatened to cut us off. There was an option to press 1 for more information, but I decided to hang up instead. Dated: 11th April 2018.

Got a voicemail from an American woman saying they’ve been trying to reach me. She warned my internet might get cut off within 2 or 3 days because someone allegedly used it in about 20 countries. Then she said to press 1 if I wanted to speak to their tech team. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.
