I got a call asking whether I’d had my covid jab and then they wanted the name of my life insurance firm to “update their files”. I said nothing and just ended the call. Moments later, the woman rang back, but I hung up straight away again.

I picked up a call from a Basildon number, and there was this robotic voice saying I was about to join a conference call. Then, out of nowhere, the call just dropped. Sounds dodgy to me, like they’re faking a real UK area code to trick people into answering. Best to just not bother picking up calls like that!

He also wanted to know if there were any side effects like a painful arm. His accent was thick, some sort of strong Asian accent, which made it pretty hard to follow what he was saying. I reckon he mentioned something about life insurance at the end, but I couldn’t be certain.
