Someone rang me claiming to be from my bank, saying there was a suspicious payment trying to go through on my card. They said I needed to check my banking app to deny the transaction. When I looked, there was a request to approve something over £3,000, so I refused it straight away. The caller then tried to ask loads of details about my account, but I told them nothing. Later on, I got in touch with my bank and they assured me that the call was definitely a scam.
