Got a call from a woman trying to sell me TV insurance for another three years, said it’d cost me £189. She then said if I wanted to cancel I had to pay £139 right now. When she asked for my bank details, I said no way and told her I didn’t want to renew. She started threatening legal action, saying she’d take it to court if I didn’t pay up. I told her to go ahead and then she just hung up on me.

I told them I don’t even have insurance for my television, but they insisted they'd just take the money from my bank account. When I asked for proof or paperwork, they refused and just ended the call. Quite fishy if you ask me.
