I got a call claiming to offer me a discount on some insurance I supposedly have (which I dont). They asked for security details from my bank card to 'approve' it right then and there. When I tried ringing them back, the line just cut me off with an automated message after 6 minutes of waiting. Sounds dodgy to me, so watch out!

I just got off the phone with an elderly neighbour who mentioned she received a call claiming she was eligible for a discount on her insurance or something along those lines. They were quite cheeky and asked for the security digits from the back of her card to sort out this so-called discount, insisting it was a "today only" offer! It's outrageous-complete and utter scammers! I tried ringing their number back, thinking I could shed some light on the situation, but was kept on hold for a good six minutes each time, only to be abruptly cut off by an automated voice saying goodbye. It’s shocking to see these con artists attempting to prey on our senior citizens yet again! 🤬🤬🤬
