I got a call claiming to offer me a discount on some insurance I supposedly have (which I dont). They asked for security details from my bank card to 'approve' it right then and there. When I tried ringing them back, the line just cut me off with an automated message after 6 minutes of waiting. Sounds dodgy to me, so watch out!

Got a call from someone pretending to offer my elderly neighbour a special deal on insurance. They asked for the security digits on her card to sort out the discount, saying it was only valid today! Total con artists! I rang the number twice to check and both times I was stuck on hold for about six minutes, only to be cut off by an automated voice saying goodbye. Just another dirty trick aimed at older folks! 🤬🤬🤬
