I got a call from some marketing firm, but couldn't quite catch their name.

I got a call from someone who just jumped straight in asking if I was the homeowner, no hello or anything. I cut him off and asked who he was exactly. He said he was ringing from some insulation advice centre in Reading. I mentioned that my phone showed his number was local, from Basildon, but he just ended the call straight away. Feels like they’re just using bought lists, honestly.

Today i picked up a call from this number but they just hung up straight away. Yesterday, i had 2 missed calls from them. Im gonna block it now.

this bloke rang me saying "are you the owner of the property? I'm your energy provider nearby". total nonsense i thought so i cut in with "what's this all about then?" he didn't appreciate the reply and just hung up. bit dodgy if you ask me, especially as the number starts with 01268, same as mine. i’m sure my actual supplier isn't around here at all. best to be careful with this one. number was 01268 389013.
