I received a rather peculiar phone call earlier. The lady on the other end claimed she was representing Amazon and mentioned an order had been made under my name, connected to an address in London. She pressed me about whether I had shared my Amazon password with anyone. The transaction amount she quoted was £49.99. I quickly replied that it hadn’t been me at all. Then, she suggested I could cancel the order. At that point, I started feeling pretty dubious about the legitimacy of her call, so I told her as much. She just responded with a rather curt "ok, ma'am" and hung up. Seemed fishy, if you ask me!
