I told them I was about to head into a meeting and could speak later, but they kept pushing, saying it’d be quick. In the end, I just blocked the number.

Today, 2/12/21, I got a phone call claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. The person on the line sounded like they were from some call centre in India. I don’t deal with Carphone Warehouse at all, so I thought it was probably a scam. When I told them I don’t have an account there, they just went quiet and ended the call.

I got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent saying there was an issue with my internet. I told her right away that I thought it might be a scam and that I'd ring BT myself to see if anything was wrong. After that, I just ended the call, even though she kept trying to convince me it was legit.
