Let's turn the tables on them and waste their time since they are wasting ours. Instead of engaging, I now choose to let them ramble on and on for as long as possible. Afterward, I apologize and ask them to repeat what they said, claiming that I couldn't hear them properly. Then, I pretend that there's someone at my door and put the call on hold, making them wait until they decide to hang up. What a cheeky approach! :0)

I engaged in an extensive chat with a gentleman who rang me from this number, referencing an old address of mine and proclaiming that I had over £2000 waiting to be claimed. Despite my clear lack of interest, he persisted in trying to persuade me to claim what he insisted was 'rightfully mine', continually interrupting me. After I've politely reiterated my disinterest at least five times, he spat something rather rude at me before abruptly ending the call. I'd like to think I've come out on top here; that poor soul must endure an incredibly dreary job. I can only hope he finds the motivation to reach for something better, as I imagine that spending your days in such a role is like chiselling away at a piece of your spirit with every interaction. I received a rather peculiar call from this number while I was heading back home. The caller claimed to represent SMS Legal, or some such name, though I couldn't quite catch it due to the howling wind. A friend of mine, Joh, experienced a similar situation recently-once more, the wind played havoc with the conversation! They insisted that I would require a computer and internet access, and mentioned they’d ring me back. However, I’m quite inclined to just brush it off and not engage further.
