They keep calling me nonstop, I've only picked up a couple of times and there was just silence. I tried calling back thinking it might be something work related. When I got through, the bloke greeted me by name and even knew my home address. It was obviously a scam when he said I had millions waiting in an account, but he could find more if I gave him my bank or credit card info! Most people, like 998 out of 1000, would just hang up, but it only takes a few elderly folks who might be a bit confused to hand over their details and lose everything.

I’m pretty sure this number belongs to people who don’t really speak English well (or maybe worse). The individual on the other end exhibited a rather unpleasant attitude and spoke in a manner that was quite inappropriate. I can’t recall the exact name but some firm called 'you legal' or similar, asked for me using my maiden name. I said yes, then the guy asked how I was, I replied 'I’m fine thanks, haven’t got any PPI or been involved in any crashes' trying to tick all the typical boxes - the bloke with a Welsh accent snapped back ‘who said anything about an accident’ and just hung up!! Got a pushy bloke on the line who kept asking for me by name and an address that’s about seven years out of date. Before giving anything away, I asked for his company registration number, but he just babbled a load of rubbish. Then I asked where he got my info from and told him to take me off their list. After that, he started going on about being confused and other nonsense, and ended with some weird threat like 'Enjoy the endless calls from other firms.'.

When I asked if I was supposed to be expecting the call, he said no but claimed it was from the government. I politely told him to end the call but he refused. He gave me some name and said I was being rude for how I answered a government call. I told him I’m not Mr Frodsman and then he hung up, muttering it wasn’t that hard.
