Got a call from a strange number warning me my internet would be cut off shortly. I pressed option 1 and got connected to someone who claimed there was an issue with my account and my broadband was about to be stopped. I ended the call there and rang up TalkTalk to check. Turns out it was a total scam!

Got a call today on my landline from this number. It was a young lady but she spoke so slowly and kinda muffled, like she had something wrong with her headset or something. She was trying to tell me there was an issue with my internet router or something, but honestly, the details were all muddled and I couldn’t really make it out. I just ended the call straight away. Definitely one of those BT scam calls!
