Got a call claiming to be Amy from TalkTalk saying, "Your internet has been hacked." I told them straight up, "I ain't even got internet!" Then everything went dead silent, and then they just ended the call, or so I thought. The timer on my phone kept running like someone was still there. Seriously, be careful and double-check you’ve properly hung up!

When I picked up, there was no answer from the other side, and they kept the line open instead of hanging up. Fortunately, I noticed this and made sure to end the call myself.

Got a call saying it was from National Broadband Company, they were gonna cut me off for half a year. I just said fine, go ahead then.

Someone was mumbling on the phone and then just cut off after a brief moment.

Somebody called me saying there was a fault with my BT line but I think it’s a total scam, they’re just trying to con people. Definitely dodgy behaviour!

They kept insisting my BT line was faulty, but honestly, I reckon they’re just a bunch of con artists trying to pull a fast one.
