My 93 year old dad has trouble hearing and got a call saying his phone bill wasn’t paid and they’d disconnect him. He was proper worried and didn’t know what to do. I checked his phone for him and it was fine, no cut off or anything. Then, about an hour later, the same number rang again. I picked up but nobody said anything, they just hung up straight away. Strange!

Got a call from a woman speaking with a sort of American accent who said she was from BT's tech team, saying they'd be cutting off my broadband. I didn’t let her finish and just hung up.

I got two calls within 20 mins but no voicemail or anything which was kinda odd.

No voicemail or anything, so I’m guessing it’s just another scam from a fresh number. Blocked it straight away since they didn’t bother leaving a message.
