My parents got a call from this number and when I picked up at their place, the caller just hung up straight away - maybe because I sound a bit young? Mum’s been telling me how she keeps getting calls from so-called Microsoft people. While I was staying with them, I noticed a few calls where they just dropped the line as soon as someone answered.

Got a call from an Asian woman claiming she was from Microsoft about my PC. Immediately got suspicious and told her to stop trying to scan people's computers before hanging up. I've had loads of calls like this from people who sound Asian, saying my computer was hacked and they needed access to fix it, threatening to shut it down if I refused. I wasn’t falling for it again, so I didn’t bother listening and just ended the call straight away.
