Earlier today, I picked up the phone and had a chat with a chap claiming to be from BT. He mentioned he needed to look into an issue with my internet connection. I informed him that BT isn't my provider. He insisted that my actual provider had requested they look into it. I decided to tell him I’d get in touch with my provider directly to sort it out and promptly ended the call.
