twice today I got calls from someone with an Indian accent claiming my BT account was due for an upgrade. I’m not even a BT customer! Heard a bit of an American accent too which was weird.

They keep ringing but never leave any messages. Quite annoying really.

They called claiming to be from British Telecom and tried to get my personal account info. When I told them BT usually doesn’t reach out like that, they just ended the call.

This person claimed to be from TalkTalk, saying there was an issue with my internet. As soon as I said I'd call TalkTalk myself to verify, they quickly stopped the chat and ended the call. Pretty clear it was a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with TalkTalk, telling me my devices had errors recently. When I asked for a specific time, they just kept repeating it was within the last 2 or 3 days, wouldn’t give a straight answer.
