Some bloke kept pretending to be from TalkTalk, even though I'd already told them I wasn't with them anymore. Proper annoying!

Absolute rubbish, had a couple of guys on the phone telling me my internet was being used to download hacking software. Just ignore and block those muppets!

Someone rang me saying they were from BT’s tech support. I just told them nicely to get lost and then put their number on block. Pretty sure they weren’t even calling from Banff though.

My phone rang but I didn't pick up. They also didn’t bother leaving any voicemail.

Got a call from a woman with a thick accent claiming she worked for BT. She asked about my internet and said there were lots of reports about people using our broadband without permission. I wasn’t really buying it and ended the call pretty quickly.

SCAM - didn’t bother giving it much time before realising it. Just like another person said before me, she tried to scare me by saying my internet would be cut off. You could tell she was just reading off a script as her English was broken (Indian accent) and she kept saying "internet connection" instead of "broadband". I told her to go ahead and disconnect, then she just ended the call.

Got a call earlier from a bloke with a really dodgy accent claiming he was from BT technical support. I kept telling him he wasn’t who he said he was, but he insisted he was. After going back and forth for ages, about five minutes, he just hung up on me! Felt like a proper win for the little guy - that’s me!

Seemed pretty dodgy to me! The call was dead silent at first, then some bloke with a really strong Indian accent said my internet would get cut off unless I sorted it out straight away. Definitely felt like a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be TalkTalk. I told them the phone line was really rubbish. They said they'd call me back but never did. The person sounded like they had an Indian accent.

I got a call from a woman speaking poor English, who said she was calling from BT. She asked how I was, then just suddenly ended the call without saying anything else. I was hoping she'd tell me something about my internet connection being cut off, but nope, she just hung up. Strange really.
