Got a call at 6 in the evening on the 21st of December, but I didn’t pick up since I didn’t know the number.

They rang me at around 9.50 in the morning here in the UK. When I picked up, it turned out to be one of those calls where you have to call back, but the line never worked anyway. Just a hassle, probably some kind of scam. Definitely don’t share any details and best to block it straight away.

Just received a call from this number; the chap on the other end was jabbering away in a language I couldn't decipher, mentioned my name, and then promptly disconnected. Quite peculiar, to say the least!

Got a call from Citizens Debt Advice, but they hung up just after 47 seconds. This was the first time they reached me using this fake number, though they’ve used tons of spoofed numbers before. Definitely a scam.

So I picked up and the bloke started talking about home upkeep stuff. That sort of thing has nothing to do with me, no clue why they rang. Had a look at other comments and seems like mine is a bit different, so feels a bit dodgy to me.

Could someone please put a stop to this number contacting me? It’s a soft-spoken woman on the other end, but I can hardly make out what she’s saying!

When I picked up, there was no one speaking on the other end. You could hear loads of background noise though, like it was ringing from one of those call centres.

Got a call saying my household insurance had run out. They quickly jumped in offering a 25% discount if I renewed then asked me to give my bank info to their 'manager' for confirmation. Wasn’t having any of it - total scam!
