Ring ring, but no one's there. Just one of those annoying ghost calls.

The person on the other end already knew both my name and address, and kept emphasising that I just had to answer 'yes' or 'no' to their supposedly short survey about household stuff. When I asked how they had got my phone number, they mentioned it was from some national list. They then wanted me to verify my name and they even read out my entire address to me. I wouldn’t say anything more until they explained what the call was really about, and then they just ended the call. Felt quite unsettling, to be honest.
