When I picked up, I paused before answering. They asked for Mrs Smith, but I told them they had the wrong number. Then they wanted to know if I was the homeowner, I said no. They tried asking to talk to the homeowner next, but I explained that was my landlord. After that, they just ended the call.

Got a call from this number around 1:15 pm on Tuesday, 22nd September. It was some bloke with a foreign accent, but I couldn't quite catch what he was saying, so I ended the call.

This number just rang me, and it was a man with an Asian accent looking for Mrs ##. I told him they’d got the wrong number. He tried again asking for Mrs ##, so I said she doesn’t live here. Then he asked if I was the householder, and I said yes, but also made it clear I wasn’t taking the call since they’d dialled the wrong number in the first place!

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming she was from the Telephone Preference Service. She said she needed to verify my Visa debit card expiry date since I pay my bill by direct debit and apparently it was about to expire this year. I told her that the expiry date doesn’t matter when it's a direct debit, then she just ended the call on me. Bit strange if you ask me.
