I received a rather perplexing call the other day. The person on the other end was insistent on speaking with someone who shares my husband’s name. However, when I inquired about the purpose of their call, they simply cited some nonsense about data protection and wouldn’t elaborate further. It’s baffling how they got hold of my number, mistaking it for my husband’s. To top it all off, the caller was rather impolite, which only added to the unpleasantness of the whole interaction.

What’s worrying is the guy had my full name too. How are these lot getting hold of real *and* made-up stuff about me?
