This was clearly a total scam.

This morning, I received a call from 01259930613. I clearly stated that I wasn’t interested, yet the audacity of the caller to address me by my first name, rather than my surname, was quite off-putting. I can’t recall the specific date and time, but I made it clear that I’m affiliated with trading standards and scam prevention. The moment I mentioned this, they hung up within seconds. To my surprise, within the last hour, I've been bombarded with about 23 calls from a different number, all linked to the same company. Quite infuriating, really!
