Not sure, but this feels like one of those scams to me.

I got a call saying they were from 3, offering me a phone deal for £35 and saying they’d sort out cancelling my new free contract while letting me keep both phones. Sounds dodgy to me, especially since I’ve seen others mention they pretend to be from all sorts of companies. Definitely didn’t trust it.

I wasn't able to pick up the phone, but just about 30 minutes earlier, I got this other call where someone pretending to be from Vodafone tried selling me a "renewal offer". Definitely not Vodafone, though.

Got a call from someone pushing a deal about 50% off the newest phones.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be ringing from Korea, offering to sell me a mobile for £50 a month. She never mentioned if it was North or South Korea though. The number showed up as Scotland on my caller ID. Ended up hanging up straight away.

I’ve never heard of anyone from Alloa calling me before. It was a blocked number so I just ignored it, might be dodgy or a scam.

They called saying they were from EE, but honestly it seemed really dodgy, probably a scam.

Some bloke claiming to be from Vodafone was on the line, but I couldn’t make out his accent at all, so I just hung up on him.
