4 yearsI received a call from 01259797393, and I suspect it's a scam. They disguise themselves as various companies to try and fool unsuspecting victims. Beware!4 yearsI got a ring from this number on the 6th of October, 2022, just after three in the afternoon. They claimed to be from O2, offering me a staggering 40% off my bill. They mentioned I'd receive two text messages: one warning me about security issues, followed by another containing a 6-digit code. Initially, I thought it might be legitimate and, foolishly, I shared my code after a bit of doubt. However, when they started asking for my address-claiming they wanted to send me a prize hamper with an iPad-I realised something was amiss. I told them to ring back since I had to dash off. Immediately after, I contacted O2 through 202, and they assured me it was indeed a SCAM. Whatever you do, never disclose your 6-digit code, regardless of the circumstances!4 yearsGot a call from someone with a thick Indian accent who said they were from Netflix.Netflix4 yearsGot a call from 01259 797393, but I didn’t pick up as I had no clue who it was. They’ve got a South Asian accent and pretend to be from different phone providers, trying to convince you that you’ve landed a half-price deal on your contract or can get a brand new iPhone for barely anything each month. I usually play along, asking loads of questions just to waste their time, but they usually drop the call after I throw the sixth or seventh question their way.
