We’ve asked several times for this so-called “local energy consultant” to take us off their call list, but they just keep ringing. Every time we try to get the company’s name, they just talk over us and then hang up once we keep pushing. Honestly, they’re the most annoying kind of cold caller.

SCAM ALERT - Someone rang me pretending to be from an energy provider and immediately started asking for my personal details like name, address and DOB. I hung up right away and blocked the number.

Just wanted to warn everyone, these scammers are using some tech tricks to show a fake location on your phone when they call. I got a call with no words, just some coughing noises, then they cut off straight away. Seeing other comments going back years means this hasn't stopped yet. So watch out and stay safe out there! :)

They called and tried to make me verify some info they already had, hoping I’d give more. But when I asked what the call was about, they just ended the call.

It’s definitely Bridge Capital X calling, number kinda looks like Scotiabank but it’s not. They’ve got loads of different numbers they use. I’ve blocked every one I got, but somehow they keep ringing from new ones. No doubt they’re scammers, be careful!
