Got some automated American bloke on the line saying they're about to shut down my internet. Just the same old nonsense, really.

Like some others have mentioned, I got one of those automated calls warning me that my internet was hacked from abroad and would be stopped in 24 hours unless I pressed 1 to speak to a 'technician'. I've heard this exact spiel before, just from different numbers each time. Feels like these scammers are just trying to scare vulnerable folks, probably quite distressing for some. Really annoying!
