Got a call with an Indian accent and all that background noise, sounded like one of those busy call centres. They said they were from BT and that my internet was having issues, which I hadn’t even complained about. I told them they were lying and up to no good - definitely a scam.

Received a call purportedly from BT regarding some issues with my broadband and they were asking me to provide certain details to avoid a disconnection. I swiftly informed the caller, who had a thick accent, where they could shove it and then ended the call.
