Received a call purporting to be from BT, supposedly to enhance our rather lacklustre broadband connection that we recently upgraded with them. The chap on the other end had a thick foreign accent, and the line quality was dreadful. When I requested a callback number since it wasn’t a great time for me, he just replied, "Alright, Madam, cheers," and promptly ended the call. Strange behaviour!
