Got a call claiming to be from BT internet, but the noise in the background was just mad - loads of people chatting all at once. Definitely felt like some sort of scam.

I answered the call, inquiring who was on the line, but received no response. The call ended abruptly after around twenty seconds. This occurred at 14:53 on the 22nd of February, 2021.

The caller said they were from BT, but when I looked into it, I discovered it's not an authentic BT number. The call originated from abroad, and the person had a noticeable South Asian accent. I'm quite convinced this is a scam of some sort. I didn’t stick around and hung up after a short while.
