Claimed to be representing BT Openreach. They were interested in inspecting my Internet Router through my computer, as there were reports of sluggish speeds. However, when I inquired about scheduling an engineer’s visit, the individual abruptly ended the call. This took place today, 15th February 2021, at around 9:25 AM.

I'm deaf and tried to get my husband to pick up for me, but by then the call had already ended.

got a call from some asian bloke claiming he was from BT, said my router had issues. told him it was fine and just ended the call.

some bloke with an asian accent called saying he was from british openreach. well, openreach dont normally ring up private people, their deals are with providers like plusnet. plusnet says everything's fine with my broadband and phone line. why would he throw in "british openreach"? kind of dodgy if u ask me. told him to jog on and slammed the phone down.
