Got a call from this number earlier with a prerecorded message - a female voice, American accent, saying it's BT. The message warned me my service was going to be cut off and told me to press 1 for more info or 2 to disconnect straight away. It sounded dodgy, so I ended the call and rang BT myself. They confirmed it’s a scam they’re aware of, so best just to ignore it. Funny thing is, the number wasn’t blocked and even showed up as coming from somewhere near Stirling in Scotland. Quite bizarre.
