This number has called me six times within the last day, even once at 1:15 am. When I try 1471, it shows up as unknown. I let the answer machine get it but all I got was quiet for a bit and then an automated 'Goodbye' message after around 15 seconds.

Got a rubbish call claiming to be BT saying my internet would be cut off. Thing is, I don’t even have BT as my provider. Let it ring for a bit without pressing anything, then ended up speaking to some bloke with a thick Asian accent and dodgy English. I told him to quit calling me, or something along those lines. Proper annoying scam.

Got a call from an robotic American voice claiming to be from BT, saying they were about to cut off our internet if we didn't press 1 or 2. I ignored it and didnt press any button, and luckily the internet is still up. I've now blocked that number just in case.

Just got a call from some dodgy automated voice, sounded American, saying BT would cut off my internet if I didn’t press 1 or 2 straight away. Complete nonsense if you ask me. I just ended the call. Had a nearly identical one a few months back.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from B.T., but I knew straight away it was dodgy since B.T. isn’t my phone company. Definitely dodged a bullet with that one. Stay clear.

While I was having a shower, my phone went off but I just let it ring. Afterwards, I decided to ring 1471 to find out who had called me. The area code was unfamiliar, so I looked it up online and found out it was from Blandford Forum in Dorset. I then came across this website to try and find out more details. Honestly, I’m glad I didn’t pick up the call!

Got a couple of calls today from a recorded message saying it’s BT Connect and that my internet service will be disconnected. I don’t even use them, so I just ended the call before it asked me to press 1. Later, I checked my voicemail and there was a weird message-just silence for a bit then someone saying “DIE”. Proper creepy, what’s going on with people these days?

What a total pain! Got called three times since 8.30 this morning by different guys, and they just won’t stop ringing. Feels like they want to cut off my internet or something - completely mental!!!

Got a message supposedly from BT tech support, but it had an American voice which felt off. They said I had to press a button to stop my internet from being cut off! Total scam - never even been with BT. They’re also ringing from the number 01433684219, which I’ve already reported. FYI, being on the TPS list doesn’t stop these calls either!

Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be BT saying my internet was about to be disconnected today. It’s getting really annoying because all I seem to get on my home phone lately are these sorts of scam calls, mostly from people pretending to be TalkTalk.

Every time I pick up the landline, there's this automated voice with an American accent claiming to be from BT, warning that our internet will be cut off today. I've had the same number call me about four times this week with nearly identical messages. They ask me to press one or two to talk to someone to stop the disconnection. I always just hang up straight away. Our number’s on the telephone preference service list, yet it doesn’t seem to stop these scam calls at all.
