I just had the most ridiculous phone call! Some bloke, claiming to be from Currys Mobile, tried to convince me he could upgrade my existing contract with 3. He supposedly offered a brand new S21 at my current rate, which sounded way too good to be true. He even mentioned a one-off charge for the phone that I’d supposedly get back in a fortnight. After that, he promised to sort out the upgrade with 3. Honestly, it all reeked of a scam!

I suspect it might be a consequence of my momentary lapse in judgement when I answered a call from a chap with a strong Indian accent. Honestly, I couldn’t decipher a single word he was saying, so I hastily ended the conversation. Ever since that incident, it appears I’m bombarded with two or three unwanted calls from various numbers, primarily from the southern parts of the UK while I'm up here in Scotland.
