Got a call from 01257 666027, the bloke said he was ringing from Currys PC World about a mobile phone deal. Told him I wasn’t interested and just ended the call. The guy on the line was male and had a thick Indian/Bangladeshi accent, barely made sense what he was saying. Feels like a scam to me. Best thing is to hang up straight away and block the number, also be careful with any calls starting with 01257. Stay cautious out there!

Similar to what others mentioned, this bloke had an Indian accent and claimed to be ringing from Currys Mobile about some sort of offer. He asked what phone I use, but I told him I wasn't sharing that info and ended the call. Honestly, even if it was legit (which I’m pretty sure it wasn’t), I never give out personal details to strangers on the phone. I've blocked the number now.

What a miserable con artist! They pretended to be from Currys, though their accent was quite dodgy, if I'm honest. When I asked them to repeat themselves because I was struggling to hear, they just told me to speak up, making it sound like they were in a chaotic call centre. Before I knew it, they just cut off the line!
