Got a call this morning around 11, really sketchy line, the bloke was speaking in broken English, and then just hung up on me. Proper dodgy lot!

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from Amazon Prime. He told me I'd been charged extra by £99.99. I cut him off right away, said I wasn’t falling for any scam, and ended the call.

Got a call from 01256 963525 the other day, some woman with a strong Pakistani accent saying she was from Amazon Prime. I don’t even have Amazon Prime, so I called it out as a scam straight away. She tried throwing some personal details at me to sound legit, but I just ended the call. I looked up the number afterwards and loads of others have complained about the same thing with 01256 963525. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me!

Today just after 12pm, I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming my Amazon Prime was hacked. Thing is, I don’t even have a Prime account! She said someone spent nearly £1000 on it. Then she asked if I wanted to cancel and get the money back, telling me to switch on my laptop. I asked her if her name was Charly, she sounded offended and said no. I told her if there’s any money to pay me, send it by post. Honestly, BT and all the phone companies should really start tracking and cracking down on these scammers once and for all.

I got a phone call from this number claiming I bought an Amazon Prime subscription for £99 just yesterday and needed to confirm it. I said I never did, then they said to cancel it I had to visit join.zoho[###] But when I asked why the website wasn’t an Amazon one, they insisted zoho was actually Amazon. I just ended the call right there.

Someone rang me pretending to be from Amazon Prime, saying a £99.99 subscription had been charged to my account and wanted me to confirm or get a refund. To process the refund, they said I needed to have my computer on and ready. They asked which browser I used, and when I said I wasn’t sure, they accused me of lying. I then asked for a link to the refund form they kept mentioning but got nowhere. Eventually, a supervisor was brought in and tried to help, but the whole experience was really unsettling and quite intimidating.

Just after 3pm today, my phone buzzed. There was an awkward silence at first, then a woman introduced herself as Ellie ####### from Amazon and asked how I was doing. I quickly replied, "You're not, you're fibbing." She then shouted "Shut up" before hanging up. Honestly, couldn’t have hung up faster myself!

Over the past couple of days, we've been getting calls much like the ones people have mentioned here. A few days back, we got two automated messages about some supposed issue with our Amazon account. Later that same day, a live caller kept insisting they were from Amazon, and it got so bad I actually had to warn them I’d call the cops before they finally hung up. Just moments ago, another live call came through, and again I ended with a threat about the police and then ended the call abruptly. We hadn’t had much of this for some time, but last year it used to happen quite a bit.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon Prime, saying my account was compromised and I owed £99 for a subscription. They asked me to switch on my computer so they could send over a cancellation form. They refused to post it out or email it, which seemed odd. I told them I wasn’t falling for it and ended the call. Afterwards, I logged into my Amazon account and everything looked completely normal, no changes or charges.

Sensing it wasn’t legit, I played dumb about computers and after a bit of that nonsense, I ended the call. Then, another person phoned straight after, again insisting I get on the computer. I told them my internet was down and quickly hung up. Blocked the number afterwards!
