Same story as always, they say "you've been in an accident that wasn't your fault" and try to hype up this huge compensation you could receive, like thousands of pounds! But before anything happens, they ask for a small setup fee to be paid right on the phone! Never give out your credit card information to these calls!!

Got a call from someone claiming it was my insurance provider. Turns out, it definitely wasn't. I left the line open for a bit and the strong Asian accent gave it away as a scam. I fired back some proper Anglo Saxon at the cold caller and then just ended the call.
