I got a ring from this number earlier today. A lady said she was calling from BT, but I couldn’t catch everything she was saying. Then she handed me over to a guy who said my internet was apparently being used by some dodgy people and that I might get cut off. I told him, thinking it sounded fishy, that losing the internet wouldn’t bother me much, and there was this awkward silence. I just ended the call there. Feels like a typical scam trying to trick you into giving them access to your computer and stealing your info.
